I build the systems behind go-to-market — revenue ops, sales and marketing process, and the foundational systems work that ties it all together.
I'm Justin — founder of Justin Tung Consulting, a GTM systems practice based in San Francisco. I help startups and growing teams design the systems behind their go-to-market: revenue operations, sales and marketing process, and the Salesforce platform work that ties it all together.
I tend to be the person who shows up before the system exists. First business systems analyst at Airbnb, where I grew the team and helped land the China office's IT footprint. First recurring-revenue product at Ramp (Plus). First B2C mobile platform on Salesforce Communities + Mobile Publisher at GuideTime. The pattern keeps repeating, which I take to mean it's the work I'm actually built for. Before all of that, F500 Salesforce implementations at Bluewolf, 13 Salesforce certifications somewhere along the way, and a Berkeley M.E.T. (Management, Entrepreneurship & Technology) plus Econ degree that drilled the wiring between technical and commercial.
Coming to the US as an immigrant at 12, I've spent years working through imposter syndrome and cultural assimilation. I've worked across China, India, Singapore, Japan, Ireland, and the UK; I get by in Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish. What's stuck: happiness comes from exploring without fear, enjoying without guilt, and taking time to celebrate the milestones along the way.
Lately I've been deep on how AI tooling — Claude Code in particular — reshapes the shape of back-office and GTM work.

Acquisitions, co-offerings, and reorgs are where systems quietly fall apart. I've worked the Twilio + Segment Engage launch, multi-product expansions at Ramp, and the messy middle of combining CRMs, billing models, partner data, and team workflows — keeping the surviving stack coherent on the way out.
Beyond Work
Children's book
Wrote and published Where Will We Go Today, a children's book inspired by my niece — who's been bringing light and joy since she could turn a page.
Amazon →Grains and Yeast
A craft beer blog, beer education programs, and product photography at festivals like GABF in Denver. Brewing, tasting, and the occasional festival shoot.
AI LoRA training
Training LoRAs on facial likeness and comic / graphic-novel styles — exploring how far personal AI image models can go before they stop feeling like the source material.
Side projects
Public repos that have outlived their initial reason for existing: a Clay MCP server and assorted Salesforce / Apex experiments. Most are scratchpads — but the good ones turn into recurring tools.
